But a great lodge must have an outstanding fishery. The main lodge offers exclusive access to our vast area.

Anywhere you stop to drop your line given the vastness of the waterways you have access to is only fished a few days a year, guaranteeing a truly virgin fishery year after year. Limited to only 24 guests per week, Aylmer Lake is truly dedicated to the satisfaction of our guests. Every detail is attended to by our staff to ensure your trip exceeds your expectations. Head up to the main lodge and relax over fresh brewed coffee and breakfast while your guide is getting your boat ready to roll out for the day. Choose to have a shore lunch or a picnic lunch that you design from the sandwich bar selection that includes all the things a picnic lunch should. Got a special request? We will do our very best to accommodate you.

Typical Travel (What to expect)

Leaving Yellowknife at 4:00pm arriving at the lodge between 5:00-5:30pm. You arrive get settled into your cabins, have supper, safety meeting, meet your guides, and relax for the evening.

Need to stay connected: Wi-Fi is available in cabins and in the Lodge.
We also have a phone and a satellite phone.

Breakfast is at 7:00am and Supper is at 7:00pm

Leaving the dock at 8:00am Returning to the dock at 6:00pm.

Your last day you are back at the dock at 4:00pm

Fly Out to Yellowknife at 5:00-5:30pm
